WITHIN

The goal of this project was to create an icon of DESIGN SCHOOL in Temasek Polytechnic. Designed not only to be seen, but through your senses you will feel it. Wrapped by a strong yet flexible metal skin, symbolizing the resilience and adaptability of design culture. Warm-toned weathering steel, folded like fabric in the wind, protects the spaces while hinting at the creativity inside. Branching paths lead from shadowed corridors to sunlit courtyards, with suspended mesh installations for seating and sculpture. Greenery softens the metal, creating a space that inspires connection, curiosity, and the sharing of ideas. That's an icon.
